The foundation work for the patios and pathways adjacent to the house have now been laid. The stonework will not be completed until some of the major landscaping has been completed in preparation for the swimming pool.
Since our last visit the plasterwork and decorating around the stairs has been completed enough to allow the iron stair rails to be fitted, these were made locally.

The electrician has run network cabling in to every TV point and several in every bedroom. The plan is to have high-speed internet access and WiFi everywhere so that there are no ‘not spots’, and the TVs will probably be at least partly Internet based. The steps down to the[…]
